He studied mechanical engineering with a focus on medical engineering at the Technical University Berlin, holds a Ph.D. in biomechanics, and started his career in clinical research at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin. Afterward, he worked for over a decade in the medical device industry in start-ups and established companies, focusing on scientific & clinical research and product management.
In his leisure time, Tobias is pushing his personal limits as a marathon runner and triathlete.
