Elron Borchardt

Chief Product & Technical Officer

Elron Borchardt is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Betterguards Technology GmbH based in Berlin, Germany. He works on the innovation, development, and production of adaptive and game-changing products that help athletes prevent injuries, return faster to sport, and increase their performance.

Elron earned his B.Sc. in Sports Technology in 2015 and finished his Master of Science in Integrated Design Engineering at OvGU Magdeburg, Germany, in 2018. He started at Betterguards Technology in 2017 as an intern and later was hired full-time as a Product Manager in 2018. In 2020, he took over the role of the Head of RnD, working closely with the engineering, production, and science team on the development of the core technology and its integration into products for injury prevention. In 2022, he was promoted to his current position as CPO & CTO.

As an athlete and sports enthusiast, Elron’s soccer career ended early in 2018 due to recurring knee injuries. Since then, he's been seeking product solutions to keep athletes in the game without sacrificing performance. With Betterguards’ adaptive technology, his vision is to build a game-changing product portfolio for athletes to help them return faster to sport, stay in the game longer, and improve their performance.
